The dependability of sensor and actuator nodes has a significant impact on the dependability of the system built of them. The aim of this work package is to enhance the dependability of individual sensor nodes. Mechanisms to remedy node failures, e.g. due to environmental conditions, and security issues, such as means to ensure node integrity, will be investigated, specified and developed according to the concrete CIP application.
